When tasked with curating a gift for a serious foodie, we were thrilled to rise to the challenge. Our client wanted to do something food-related that wasn't a generic basket of fruits, nuts, and crackers (and rightfully so). Because the gift recipient was a talented home chef, we included two well-regarded cookbooks: The Food Lab and celebrated local chef Renee Erickson's A Boat, A Whale & A Walrus. Combined with a bottle of high-quality olive oil and a basket of high-quality produce from Pike Place Market, this gift honored the importance of eating local while providing the recipient with a plethora of new recipes to try.
