Our mission is to create extraordinary gifts for every occasion, no matter how big or small. The Present Perfect team is constantly hunting for interesting brands, products, and wrapping materials to ensure that our curated gifts leave lasting impressions and are deeply appreciated. For us, details are everything--and we won't stop until you are completely satisfied. Below are examples of gifts we've curated for a variety of occasions.
There's nothing sweeter than a newborn babe, and we love celebrating a new arrival with items that are both adorable and practical. We drew upon some of our own personal favorites in putting together this gift set--the gorgeous illustrations make Carson Ellis's Home a bedtime necessity with our own wee ones, and how lovely is that floral detail on the bunny's ears? Since a new parent can never have too many diapers and wipes, we included some (eco-friendly!) ones that are sure to please even the most design-minded recipient. The precious little booties, hand-knit from Peruvian alpaca, are fair trade and support artisans in Bolivia.
Sometimes, less is more. This particular gift was designed for a fashion-obsessed Francophile's birthday, and we couldn't think of anything more appropriately festive than a timeless Hermès silk scarf and a bottle of fine bubbly. When presented with that iconic orange box, she knew that something special was inside. Ooh la la, indeed!
Handcrafted spirits are one of our favorite things to bring to a housewarming party. Sure, you could grab a couple six-packs from the local grocery store... but with so many great options out there, why not spice things up in an elevated way? OOLA Distillery, located in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood, makes some seriously good grain-to-glass creations. They also have beautifully-designed bottles and labels, making them a stylish addition to any bar cart. Throw in a cocktail recipe book, and you'll surely be invited back for another round of drinks.
Amidst the daily hustle of work, social engagements, and family responsibilities, it's easy to start taking your better half for granted. A considerate "just because" gift is an excellent reminder of the love and affection that brought you together in the first place. It's an easy and foolproof way to brighten the other person's day--who can resist some delicious chocolates and a cheerful candle?
When tasked with curating a gift for a serious foodie, we were thrilled to rise to the challenge. Our client wanted to do something food-related that wasn't a generic basket of fruits, nuts, and crackers (and rightfully so). Because the gift recipient was a talented home chef, we included two well-regarded cookbooks: The Food Lab and celebrated local chef Renee Erickson's A Boat, A Whale & A Walrus. Combined with a bottle of high-quality olive oil, a couple jars of Erickson's famous Boat Street Pickles, and a basket of high-quality produce from Pike Place Market, this gift honored the importance of eating local while providing the recipient with a plethora of new recipes to try. Yum!
